SocialMediaPlus 2011 is a social media event, being held from November 15th to 16th, at the Pennsylvania convention Center, at Philadelphia. It is a summit which will showcase ideas, which are practical and applicable, for the use of social media, in business. As it is the largest social media event, it will be the meeting point of stalwarts, of national repute, in the social media industry.
This year, the curriculum has been expanded to include, the SocialMediaPlus Academy, which will be offering pre conference training to participants, in the field of social media advertising. This will be held on Nov.15th, from 1pm to 5 pm.
Focus of the event will be on Executive, Sales and Business Development, Marketing and Human Resources. The attendees will learn, strategies and tactics, that are proven in this business, and utilizing them in their respective fields.

A new report by the American Customer Satisfaction Index states Facebook as one of the most hated social media sites. A customer experience analytics, ForeSee Results helped compile the results of all the social media sites.
The reviewers found that Google topped in customer satisfaction among all the social media sites. It scored 83 in comparison to its nearest competitor Bing.com which got a score of 82. The top five social media sites which found favor with the consumers were FoxNews.com, Ask.com and Yahoo!
Facebook scored a miserable 66 and Google+ may fill the void left by MySpace which was dropped from this year's index. It was dropped since they didn't have enough users to create a data sample. Google+ could prove to be the next winner among the social media sites but the survey was taken before it was launched. This is being based on the fact that Google has the highest score on the list and Facebook the lowest.
